Frontier Just Added New Nonstop Flights to Honduras and Guatemala
Frontier Airlines has launched new nonstop service from Houston to Guatemala and Honduras, expanding its international network from Texas and strengthening connections to Central America with added relevance for Caribbean-bound travel.
The carrier is now operating nonstop flights between George Bush Intercontinental Airport and La Aurora International Airport, with service running three times weekly.
Frontier has also launched nonstop service from Houston to Ramón Villeda Morales International Airport, operating weekly with fares starting at forty-nine dollars. San Pedro Sula continues to serve as an important gateway for Caribbean travel, with onward access to destinations along Honduras’ Caribbean coast and regional connections to the Bay Islands.
With the addition of these routes, Frontier now serves 23 nonstop destinations from Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport, underscoring the airline’s continued expansion from the Texas hub.
“There’s a lot to be excited about as the new year approaches – from our expanding network to rolling out our First Class experience – and we’re thrilled to offer Houston-area travelers even more affordable flight options to exciting international destinations as we continue to grow,” said Rob Harris, corporate communications manager for Frontier Airlines.
Houston Airports officials said the expanded service strengthens the region’s connectivity to Central America and reinforces Houston’s role as a major international gateway, particularly as the city prepares to welcome increased global travel in the coming years.
