Antigua and Barbuda is reassuring U.S. travelers, travel advisors, airlines, and industry partners that recent media reports related to U.S. visa issuance for citizens of Antigua and Barbuda have no impact on travel to or from the destination.

Tourism officials confirmed that there have been no changes to entry or exit requirements for U.S. citizens or other international visitors traveling to Antigua and Barbuda. All airports and seaports remain fully operational, and travel to and from the twin-island nation is continuing smoothly and without disruption.

The country’s Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Transportation and Investment emphasized that the destination remains fully open and welcoming to visitors, noting that Antigua and Barbuda continues to operate normally as the winter travel season gets underway.

“Antigua and Barbuda is open for business, and we are delighted to welcome visitors as always with our signature hospitality, world-class beaches, rich culture, and exceptional service,” the statement said, adding that travelers can plan their visits with complete confidence.

Tourism officials underscored that Antigua and Barbuda remains a safe, vibrant destination, known for its 365 beaches, luxury resorts, historic and cultural attractions, diverse culinary offerings, and strong sense of community.

With winter travel now in full swing, the destination is anticipating another strong tourism season and extended best wishes to travelers and industry partners for a successful holiday period. Visitors and travel partners are encouraged to continue planning trips to Antigua and Barbuda with confidence, as the destination looks ahead to welcoming guests in the months ahead
