Atlantis Paradise Island Names New COO
Atlantis Paradise Island has named Vaughn Roberts as its new chief operating officer, placing a longtime executive with deep financial and operational experience into a key leadership role as the Nassau resort moves into its next phase of development.
In the role, Roberts will oversee day-to-day operations across the Atlantis resort complex and help guide operational performance and guest experience initiatives at the destination. The appointment comes as Atlantis continues broader efforts to refine operations and invest in the property’s long-term evolution.
Roberts has served as executive vice president of administration and strategic initiatives since February 2024 and has been with Atlantis since 2021. During that time, he has worked closely on organizational strategy and internal priorities. His earlier career included senior roles in investment banking, consulting, and accounting at firms including Dresdner Kleinwort, Bank One, Lehman Brothers, and KPMG.
“Vaughn’s appointment reflects both his exceptional leadership and the confidence we have in his ability to guide Atlantis through an important period of evolution,” said Audrey Oswell, president and managing director of Atlantis Paradise Island. “He brings a rare combination of strategic insight, operational rigor, and collaborative leadership that will be instrumental as we continue to invest in the resort and elevate the guest experience.”
Roberts said he sees the role as an opportunity to build on the resort’s legacy while strengthening its operational foundation. “I am honored to take on this role at such a pivotal time for Atlantis,” he said. “Together with our team members and partners, we are focused on strengthening our operations, building on Atlantis’ extraordinary legacy, and delivering long-term value for our guests, shareholders, and the Bahamian community.”
