The Aruba Marriott's rooms have a new look.

The Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino has finished a comprehensive, multimillion-dollar renovation that redefines its look and feel along the island’s legendary Palm Beach. The project, carried out in phases from spring through early December, refreshed all 414 guest rooms and suites and marks the beginning of what the resort is calling a new era in its design direction.

The updated guestrooms introduce a bright, modern coastal aesthetic, using sand and taupe tones to anchor the palette with coral and sea-glass accents as subtle references to the surrounding landscape. Floor-to-ceiling windows now play a central role in the experience, bringing natural light into the redesigned spaces and emphasizing the property’s Palm Beach and Caribbean Sea views.

New furnishings include marble-topped desks, streamlined sofas and armchairs, rattan desk lamps and slim metallic fixtures, all arranged to reflect a lighter, more contemporary style. Each room also features new flooring and photographic artwork of nearby palm trees, shoreline and sea.

Bathrooms were completely reimagined as well, now featuring double vanities with marble countertops, back-lit mirrors, open shelving and lightwood finishes. Showers include sliding glass doors, waterfall shower heads, a foot niche and soft grey tile walls, with select rooms adding oversized soaking tubs. The renovation extended to guest floor corridors, which now feature carpeting designed with oversized seashell and aquatic patterns.

All 24 suites were part of the redesign, starting at 625 square feet and offering wrap-around balconies for wider views of Palm Beach and the Caribbean Sea. Among these, three Junior Suites and two Governor’s Suites belong to the adults-only Tradewinds Club, the resort’s elevated, exclusive-access experience.

The renovation also included upgrades to the Mandara Spa, the island’s largest at 6,500 square feet. Enhancements feature new saunas and steam rooms, refreshed décor across its 12 treatment rooms and an expanded outdoor courtyard that now includes a hot tub, cold plunge and additional seating for open-air relaxation. The improvements follow recent upgrades to the Stellaris Casino, signaling a broader modernization effort across the resort.

“I couldn’t be more energized about this next chapter for the Aruba Marriott Resort,” said Raoul Lemmerling, complex general manager. He noted that the refreshed rooms align with earlier enhancements to both the casino and the Mandara Spa, and represent a key step in the resort’s ongoing evolution.

The Aruba Marriott continues to offer a wide range of on-site amenities including a family-friendly pool with swim-up bar, the adults-only H2Oasis pool, the Mandara Spa, the Stellaris Casino and ten restaurants with varied culinary options

Rooms at the Aruba Marriott start at $966 per night in January, according to Google Hotels data.
