Bonaire welcomed 16,752 stayover visitors in November 2025, a 2.8 percent increase over the same month last year, according to preliminary data released by Tourism Corporation Bonaire.

The Netherlands remained the island’s strongest market, contributing 46.3 percent of all arrivals with 7,761 visitors. Travelers from the United States were the second-largest group, accounting for 27.1 percent of arrivals and 4,541 visitors.

Among US travelers, most arrived with a partner, followed by those traveling alone. Vacation and diving were the leading trip purposes, representing 45.5 percent and 42.2 percent of arrivals, respectively. Hotels were the dominant accommodation choice at 53 percent, with villas and apartments also drawing a notable share. The largest source states were New York, Florida, Texas, California, and North Carolina, with travelers aged 55 to 64 and 65 and older forming the biggest age segments.

Dutch visitors were primarily solo travelers, followed by those visiting with a partner. Vacation travel dominated at 67.2 percent, with additional visitors arriving to see friends and family or for business. Nearly half of Dutch travelers stayed in hotels, while apartments, relatives’ homes, and villas rounded out the top lodging categories. North Holland, South Holland, North Brabant, Gelderland, and Utrecht were the leading source regions, with the 55 to 64 and 45 to 54 age groups comprising the largest portions of the market.

TCB said the November performance reflects continued steady demand from its two core markets heading into the winter season.
