Royalton Hotels and Resorts is expanding its newest brand with the debut of Royalton Vessence Cancun, an adults-oriented all-inclusive set to open in Fall/Winter 2026 on the shores of the Mexican Caribbean.

The announcement follows what the company said was a strong initial reception to Royalton Vessence Barbados, which introduced the company’s next-generation approach to art-driven, sensory-focused resort design. That property is slated to open in the summer of 2026.

The announcement comes after Royalton just reopened two of its Cancun-area resorts, both of which are still part of the Autograph Collection.

Royalton Vessence blends contemporary aesthetics with cultural connection, a concept rooted in the Latin veritas essentia. The brand is centered on slower, more mindful travel, weaving in digital-detox spaces, late-night swim areas, and curated activities ranging from cooking classes to wine pairings and hands-on cultural workshops. It’s designed for adults, older-teen families, couples, and friend groups looking for a calm, modern take on the all-inclusive experience.

Just 25 minutes from Cancun International Airport, Royalton Vessence Cancun will feature 376 suites, half of them Presidential Suites within the Royalton Suites & Villas tier. These suites will include a main bedroom plus a flexible secondary area equipped with two full-size single DreamBed mattresses in a Murphy-bed style layout. Guests will also have the option to connect a Presidential Suite with a Double Junior Suite — a configuration the company says is unique in the all-inclusive market and aimed at meeting rising demand for more spacious, versatile accommodations.

“Travelers today want more spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully crafted accommodations, and this resort delivers that through calm modern design, sensory driven moments, and a deeper cultural connection,” said Jordi Pelfort, President of Royalton Hotels & Resorts.

The resort will include eight dining venues, a coffee shop, and six bars, among them a dedicated wine and spirits tasting room. A rooftop space will offer international cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, and panoramic Caribbean views in a setting designed for relaxed sophistication.

Royalton Vessence Cancun will also introduce The Studio, a signature brand concept that serves as a creative hub — hosting pottery, painting, and culinary workshops by day and transforming into a small-format performance space with live music after dark.
