Bahamasair Is Launching New Nonstop North Eleuthera Flights
Bahamasair will launch new nonstop service from Fort Lauderdale to North Eleuthera on Nov. 23, 2025, adding an important connection for travelers heading to one of the Bahamas’ most popular Out Island gateways.
The route is designed to meet rising demand for shorter, direct flights to the Out Islands, where interest has surged in recent seasons.
North Eleuthera serves as the primary access point not only for Eleuthera itself, but also for Harbour Island and Spanish Wells, two destinations that continue to draw strong visitor interest.
Harbour Island is just a short cab ride — and a ferry — from the airport.
The new service strengthens Bahamasair’s position in the Florida market, offering a convenient option for South Florida travelers who want to bypass Nassau and connect directly to the Out Islands. For Eleuthera’s hotels, villa operators and tourism businesses, the added lift provides an important boost ahead of the winter season.
With this launch, Bahamasair continues its broader push to improve connectivity across the archipelago, supporting both tourism growth and easier movement for residents.
