This Is the Ultimate Day Trip in the Cayman Islands

It's a unique way to spend a day in the Cayman Islands.
It's a unique way to spend a day in the Cayman Islands.

The newest way to explore the Cayman Islands’ Sister Islands is built around the one thing travelers increasingly want in 2026: a deeper connection to the land.

Cayman Airways and Le Soleil d’Or Farm on Cayman Brac have created a same-day escape that folds agriculture, local cuisine, and island culture into a seamless farm-to-table experience.

It’s a quick hop from Grand Cayman, but it feels like a full reset — a morning flight, an afternoon of fresh ingredients and Caribbean sunshine, and a sunset touchdown back home.

In other words, it’s the ultimate Day Trip in the Cayman Islands.

Travelers start on the farm itself, where the scent of herbs and the rows of tropical produce set the tone for the day. The experience is intentionally simple and hands-on. Guests meet the growers, walk the gardens, learn about the cultivation methods that shape Cayman Brac’s culinary identity, and see the ingredients that anchor lunch just a few hours later. It’s a rare chance to go from field to plate without ever leaving the property.

The rest of the trip unfolds between the farm and the island’s Beach Club — a quiet, relaxed stretch of coastline designed for slowing down. Between the pool, the loungers, and the open-air dining spaces, it’s an easy place to spend a full afternoon. Some travelers turn it into a culinary day, others into a beach day; most end up doing a little of both.

What the Day Trip Includes

The mid-week option runs Monday through Thursday for one hundred fifteen dollars per person. It covers roundtrip airport transfers on Cayman Brac, a full farm tour, Beach Club access with the pool and beach chairs, lunch at The Farm Restaurant, 20 percent off all farm products, and ten percent off overnight stays for anyone who decides they want to return.

The weekend version, available Friday through Sunday for one hundred five dollars per person, follows a similar structure but shifts lunch to The Beach Club. Travelers still get the farm tour, airport transfers, Beach Club access, the same discounts on products and overnight stays, and a slightly lower fare.

For Cayman Airways, the program brings new energy to inter-island travel at a time when demand for slow food, sustainability, and local immersion is rising. For travelers, it’s an uncomplicated way to see Cayman Brac in a single day — and to experience one of the region’s most distinctive farm-to-table ecosystems without having to plan around a full-length island stay.
