The 2026 Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Investment Survey

By: Caribbean Journal Staff

The Caribbean hotel industry is entering a new phase. New airport projects are reshaping airlift patterns, development pipelines continue to expand across the region, and investors are watching closely as construction costs, insurance dynamics, and demand trends evolve heading into 2026.

To better understand how industry leaders are thinking about the next cycle, Caribbean Journal Invest has launched its new Caribbean Journal Hotel & Tourism Investment Survey, a sentiment study designed to capture the perspectives of developers, tourism executives, lenders, operators, owners, advisors, and large-scale investors across the region.

The results will be published in the Caribbean Journal Invest Hotel and Tourism Outlook 2026.

We’re inviting our readers and partners to share their insights.

You can take the survey here:

The survey includes ten core questions, focusing on where investors see the strongest opportunities for new hotel development, which brands they expect to be most active, the barriers shaping the current environment, and overall sentiment for 2026.

Responses will be aggregated and analyzed as part of CJI’s ongoing regional research program. No individual responses will be published

If you’re a developer, tourism executive, lender, broker, owner, advisor, consultant, asset manager, or operator, your input matters — and it contributes to the most comprehensive annual snapshot of hotel investment sentiment in the region.
