St. Kitts marked a major step forward in regional connectivity on Nov. 21 with the inaugural Anguilla Air Services daily flight from Anguilla, a new route designed to strengthen travel, business, and cultural ties across the northeastern Caribbean.

The aircraft touched down at Robert Llewellyn Bradshaw International Airport to a traditional water salute, greeted by government officials, aviation partners, and tourism leaders.

In remarks at the arrival ceremony, Minister of Tourism Marsha T. Henderson underscored the route’s broader impact on mobility and economic development across the region.
“Today marks a transformative moment for St. Kitts as we expand the pathways that connect our people, our culture, and our economy to the wider Caribbean,” she said. “The introduction of this new Anguilla Air Services flight is more than the launch of a route, it is an investment in opportunity.”

Henderson highlighted the benefits for residents, visitors, and local businesses, noting that improved access supports competitiveness and strengthens St. Kitts’ regional aviation landscape.

Anguilla Air Services CEO and Chief Pilot Carl Avery Thomas said the launch represented both progress and partnership.
“This morning marks a proud milestone as Anguilla Air Services officially launches its scheduled service to St. Kitts,” he said. “Another beautiful link in the chain that brings our islands, our people, and our stories closer together.”

Thomas described the connection as a bridge for families, business, culture, and adventure — and a meaningful addition to Caribbean inter-island travel.

Anguilla Air Services will operate daily flights between Anguilla and St. Kitts, with an 8:30 a.m. departure Sunday through Friday and a 2:30 p.m. Saturday service. One-way fares from Anguilla start at US$127, with round-trip tickets from US$284.

The route is expected to meet growing demand for easier OECS travel and provide new options for international visitors exploring the region.
