The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman has reopened its signature spa after a full transformation, unveiling a redesigned space and an expanded program that places the resort at the forefront of Caribbean wellness.

The resort has introduced a new spa experience shaped by design, technology and a deeper connection to Cayman’s natural environment.

Champalimaud Design led the reimagining. The team drew inspiration from Caymanite, the semi-precious stone unique to the islands, translating its colors and textures into an interior palette of coral, clay and soft white. A new arrival sequence guides guests along an outdoor path framed by vegetation and water features before they enter a space defined by marble floors, hand-painted ceilings and lighting that evokes the movement of the sea.

The layout now includes sixteen treatment rooms, among them couples’ suites and specialty rooms with private showers designed for body therapies. The nail studio has been expanded, and the hydrotherapy area has been rebuilt around four cold plunge pools, refreshed saunas and steam rooms, and new relaxation lounges. Advances in treatment technology play a central role. Massage and facial tables incorporate vibroacoustic systems that pair sound and vibration, and treatments are supported by soundscapes created with the Myndstream platform.

The resort’s Spa Director, Sandrine Dixneuf, said the transformation reflects a commitment to offering experiences found nowhere else in the region. That begins with the new Exosome Regeneration Facial created in partnership with 111SKIN. The ninety-minute treatment uses exosomes to support cellular renewal, combining them with micro spicule delivery and the brand’s NAC Y2 formula. The protocol includes deep cleansing, a sculpting massage and a restorative mask for results designed to be both visible and lasting. It is exclusive to this Caribbean location.

Signature rituals have also been added. The Thermal Circuit and Vibroacoustic Meditation Experience brings together hot-cold immersion and guided sound therapy, while a Sunrise Floating Sound Bath uses singing bowls and chimes to create a morning session in water followed by a seasonal breakfast. Other treatments integrate the Myndstream sound library, including the Relaxation Massage and the Celestial Black Diamond Facial by 111SKIN, allowing guests to continue curated sound programs in their rooms.

The spa’s new programming extends to personalized wellness planning. The introduction of on-site Wellness Coaches brings a tailored approach to each stay. Coaches consult with guests before arrival, design treatment programs and support their progress throughout their visit. The spa also continues to work with ESPA for aromatherapy and marine-based treatments, adding depth to a menu that blends natural ingredients with high-performance skincare.

The resort has also created what it’s calling the “Renewal Retreat” in the Seven South Penthouse.

The seven-day program begins with pre-arrival consultations with both a Wellness Coach and the resort’s chef, followed by an in-suite cooking session upon arrival.

Daily fitness training, meditation, access to all classes and signature treatments anchor the week, which includes the Exosome Facial, two wellness massages and a curated 111SKIN set for post-stay care.
