A New Adults-Only All-Inclusive Is Opening Near Cancun — With 599 Rooms, Swim-Out Rooms, and an Opening Date
Travelers looking for a quieter alternative to Cancún’s hotel zone will soon have a new option. Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres, opening in Dec. 2025, will be the first adults-only resort in the new Ocean Allure Signature Adults Only brand from Ocean Signature Resorts.
The property is now taking reservations beginning Dec. 1, Caribbean Journal has confirmed.
The property sits north of Cancún in Costa Mujeres, an area known for its calm beaches, softer crowds and easy access to the airport. The opening signals a continued push by developers to expand the region’s adults-only offerings with larger, more amenity-rich all-inclusive resorts.
What the Rebrand Means for Travelers
The debut comes as H10 Hotels is reintroducing its Caribbean portfolio under the Ocean Signature Resorts name. For travelers, that means updated room designs, newer construction, more modern restaurants and a shift toward higher-service all-inclusive stays. The adults-only Ocean Allure sub-brand focuses specifically on travelers who want a quieter atmosphere, more structured dining choices and a more organized layout compared to large family resorts. The company says the new approach is meant to deliver a more consistent, premium feel across all future Caribbean openings.
A 599-Room Property Designed for Travelers Who Want Space
Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres will open with 599 rooms and suites built across a broad beachfront site bordered by mangroves. For guests, the layout means wider walking paths, separate pool zones and room categories that allow travelers to choose between more active or more low-key areas of the resort. Costa Mujeres has quickly become a favorite for visitors who want beach access and newer large-scale resorts without the density and nightlife of Cancún’s main strip. The resort’s shoreline is known for shallow, clear water and typically calmer surf, which helps with swimming and water sports.
Eight Restaurants and a More Structured Dining Program
One of the biggest draws for travelers will be the resort’s eight restaurants, which include Mediterranean, Asian, Caribbean and Mexican options along with specialty formats and all-day dining. For guests trying to plan their stay, the number of restaurants means fewer repeating meals and more reliable access to reservations — key factors at large all-inclusives. The eight bars and lounges will offer daytime and nighttime venues, giving travelers a choice between beach bars, lobby lounges and later-evening entertainment spaces.
Pools, Water Features and Daily Activities
The resort will have two major pool complexes, including one dedicated to relaxation and another built around activity features such as a wave pool and a lazy river. For travelers comparing all-inclusive options, this setup helps separate guests who want quiet pool time from those who prefer music, games and social areas. The resort will also offer non-motorized water sports and a daily calendar of activities typical of larger Caribbean resorts, helping guests plan full beach days without leaving the property.
What to Expect From the Despacio Spa Centre
Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres will also introduce a large Despacio Spa Centre, which will be one of the more extensive spa facilities in Costa Mujeres when it opens. For wellness-focused travelers, the spa includes a hydrotherapy circuit, treatment rooms, recovery areas and a dedicated fitness zone. Spa reservations tend to fill quickly at all-inclusives during peak season, so travelers planning holiday or winter stays may want to book treatments in advance once the reservation system opens.
Upgraded Privilege Rooms for Travelers Who Want Added Services
The resort’s Privilege category will appeal to guests looking for more personalized service and quieter areas. Privilege guests receive private check-in, access to exclusive beach and pool zones, and butler service — features that can make the large scale of a 599-room resort feel more manageable. The Privilege rooftop dining venue will offer an additional restaurant option exclusive to those guests. Travelers deciding between room categories may find Privilege worthwhile during high-demand weeks, when private zones and additional dining access can reduce wait times and crowding.
Prices at the New Costa Mujeres Resort
The value is pretty strong. Opening rates in December are coming in as low as $277 if you book direct, according to Google Hotels data.
