Delta Is Adding New Saturday Flights to the Caribbean — Including Islands Like Aruba, Grenada, and Nassau 

The appeal of a quick Caribbean escape gets stronger when the flights line up with the weekend. Delta Air Lines is rolling out a new series of Saturday-only nonstop routes for 2025–26, expanding lift to several high-demand leisure destinations. The schedule adds new service from Atlanta, Boston, New York and Austin, connecting major U.S. cities directly to top Caribbean beaches with no mid-day connections and no extra transfers.

For travelers planning winter and spring trips — particularly those looking to maximize PTO or leave on a Saturday morning and be in the water by lunchtime — the new routes deliver exactly that.

New Saturday Nonstop Flights

Delta is launching new Saturday-only flights from key hubs and growing leisure gateways across the United States. The new lineup includes a mix of Caribbean favorites and one of the most in-demand leisure routes from Texas.

Atlanta to Grenada

Delta’s expansion also includes new Saturday service from Atlanta to Grenada, giving travelers an easy weekend route into one of the Caribbean’s most naturally beautiful islands. Maurice Bishop International Airport sits just minutes from Grand Anse Beach, making Grenada one of the quickest “airport-to-resort” transitions in the region. The island has been steadily growing its hotel and villa options — including luxury openings on Grand Anse and new boutique properties along the southwest coast — while maintaining its low-rise, low-density character. The new ATL–GND route opens a direct connection for travelers across the Southeast, giving them a seamless way to reach Grenada’s beaches, spice estates and marine reserves for a short winter or spring escape

Atlanta to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
Delta’s new service from ATL to SVD strengthens one of the Caribbean’s fastest-growing destinations. Saint Vincent has seen a rise in U.S. arrivals thanks to new resorts, expanded villa inventory and interest in the Grenadines’ small-island, low-density appeal. A Saturday option allows travelers from across the Southeast to connect through Atlanta and reach the island in a single hop.

Boston to Aruba
The new BOS–AUA flight adds more lift to one of the Caribbean’s most reliable year-round destinations. Aruba remains a top choice for quick trips due to consistent weather, strong hotel inventory and easy access to beaches and restaurants minutes from the airport.

Boston to Nassau
Delta is doubling down on Boston leisure service with a new nonstop to Nassau. The route gives New England travelers a fast weekend connection to The Bahamas, pairing short flight times with Nassau’s strong hotel and resort options, including Paradise Island and Cable Beach.

LaGuardia to Nassau
Delta’s new LGA–NAS service gives New York travelers a rare convenience: a Caribbean flight operating from a close-to-Manhattan airport. While JFK remains the region’s primary long-haul hub, the addition of Nassau from LaGuardia creates an easier option for quick getaways.

Austin to Cancun
Austin continues to grow as one of the country’s most active outbound leisure markets. The new AUS–CUN nonstop gives travelers in Central Texas a Saturday flight to one of North America’s most popular beach destinations, with access to Cancun, Riviera Maya and the expanding Tulum corridor. This flight will be launching in June 2026.

She said the goal is to add flexibility and make popular warm-weather destinations easier to reach without the extra steps or longer itineraries that often accompany a weekend trip.

These additions expand Delta’s Caribbean network at a time when travelers are increasingly planning shorter trips with higher expectations for convenience. The mix of gateways — Atlanta, Boston, New York and Austin — reflects some of the strongest markets for Caribbean and Mexico leisure travel.

Booking windows for winter and spring leisure travel typically open early, and Delta expects strong interest as travelers look ahead to the 2025–26 season.
