Princess Cruises Is Launching Its Largest-Ever Caribbean and Panama Canal Program
Princess Cruises is expanding its Caribbean and Panama Canal presence in a significant way, announcing its largest and most wide-ranging deployment for the 2027–28 season. The schedule includes 31 ports across five homeports and adds Celebration Key — Carnival Corporation’s new destination on Grand Bahama — to the line’s Caribbean lineup for the first time.
The addition of Celebration Key begins Nov. 1, 2026, when Star Princess becomes the first Princess ship to call at the new destination. Regal Princess follows on Nov. 9, with Caribbean Princess, Enchanted Princess, Sky Princess and Sun Princess scheduled to visit during the 2026–27 and 2027–28 seasons.
Celebration Key is designed as a combined relaxation-and-adventure stop with calm lagoons, family activities and a broad mix of dining and leisure spaces. Bookings for island experiences, including cabanas, open Dec. 17.
The 2027–28 Caribbean program runs from October through April and features 187 departures across nine ships. It marks the first time the line’s two newest Sphere-class ships — Star Princess and Sun Princess — will sail the region. The season includes 43 itineraries ranging from four to 15 days, visits to 31 destinations and calls at 13 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Ships will sail from five homeports: Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Port Canaveral, New York and San Juan. The schedule also includes more late-night stays in Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao.
For the Panama Canal, Princess continues its long-running presence with 22 departures across five ships from September 2027 to April 2028. The program offers nine itineraries, including roundtrip sailings from Fort Lauderdale and ocean-to-ocean voyages between Los Angeles or Vancouver and Florida. The season features 21 destinations in nine countries and seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites, along with extended evening calls in ports such as Cartagena, Aruba and Puerto Amador.
