Wyndham’s New Puerto Rico Retreat Is the Newest Adults-Only Hotel on the Island

Puerto Rico has a new adults-only hotel.

Adults-only resorts are among the most sought-after experiences in Caribbean travel — yet in Puerto Rico, they remain rare. That’s what makes Bali Posh Hotel stand out. The design-forward property in Isla Verde has joined the Trademark Collection by Wyndham, becoming one of the only adults-only hotels on the island and adding a new layer of sophistication to Puerto Rico’s hotel scene.

Set in the heart of Isla Verde, just steps from one of San Juan’s best-known beaches, Bali Posh Hotel Adults Only was built around a kind of barefoot-cool vibe. The 78-room property says it draws its inspiration from Balinese design, with hand-carved wood, imported furniture, and natural textures that give the space a calm, organic feel.

It’s an atmosphere that feels both intimate and worldly — a reflection of the island’s growing appetite for refined, adult-focused escapes.

A Strategic Partnership for Global Reach
“This alliance with Wyndham represents a strategic leap for Bali Posh Hotel,” said founders Mauricio Noguera and César Candia in a statement provided to Caribbean Journal. “Our goal is to preserve our design-focused essence while gaining the global reach and support that only a brand like Wyndham can offer. We want to take what makes us unique, the fusion and spirit that define Bali Posh Hotel, to the next level.”

A Calm, Contemporary Stay by the Beach
The hotel offers a curated mix of experiences: an outdoor pool lined with Balinese daybeds, exclusive beach access, a 24-hour fitness center, and Laut Restaurant & Bar, which features a mix of Asian and Caribbean flavors. You can also get massages, take advantage of coworking spaces, and try daily wellness activities, all designed around a slower, more mindful pace of travel.

It’s a unique kind of hotel for the island. In fact, it’s the only adults-only hotel in Isla Verde, and the only one with any kind of beach access. That’s almost hard to believe, given how popular the concept is — but it’s also welcome. And it’s part of a small fraternity of adults-only options, mostly under the outstanding O:live brand (we’ve stayed at several of them and adore them, including the OLV 55 in Condado).

A New Option for Adults-Only Travel in Puerto Rico
With its new Wyndham partnership, Bali Posh Hotel is now easier than ever to discover and book through Wyndham’s global network and Wyndham Rewards. For travelers, it offers something Puerto Rico has long been missing — an adults-only beach escape that feels private, stylish, and deeply relaxing. It’s a place to slow down, reconnect, and experience a different side of Isla Verde — one defined by design, calm, and the quiet luxury of being truly away.

Adults-Only Value?

The value might be the biggest story. You can find rooms for under $200 per night, according to Google Hotels, an even rarer commodity in Caribbean travel right now.

These Aruba Resorts Have the Island’s Best All-Inclusive Options

The story of Aruba’s all-inclusive resorts began more than half a century ago, when the island’s first Divi property opened in 1969 — named for the windswept divi-divi tree that still lines its beaches.
