Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc Is Bringing Culinary Pop-Ups to the Caribbean
This winter, two of the Caribbean’s most celebrated resorts will host a taste of the French Riviera. Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc, the legendary Côte d’Azur retreat, is launching a pair of limited-time culinary pop-ups at Eden Rock – St Barthsand Jumby Bay Island in Antigua, blending Mediterranean artistry with Caribbean flair.
From Nov. 18–21, 2025, Eden Rock – St Barths will welcome Pastry Chef Tarek Ahamada for a four-day pâtisserie residency. Guests will be greeted with handmade chocolates presented in bespoke wooden Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc boxes, while signature creations like the Vanilla Knot and Riviera Citrus Granita appear across the resort’s restaurants and beach bar. The chef’s playful, buoy-shaped pastries—an homage to the French Riviera—will also be available through Eden To Go and as part of in-villa amenities.
Then, from Feb. 1–28, 2025, Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc’s Italian restaurant Giovanni’s will cross the Atlantic to Jumby Bay Island. The month-long residency will bring handmade pastas, wood-fired pizzas, and seasonal antipasti to the Veranda’s open-air kitchen. Guests will even be invited to hand-stretch their own pizza dough alongside the chefs—a convivial moment of shared cooking under Caribbean skies.
Together, these two residencies mark a rare meeting of worlds: the Riviera’s timeless refinement reimagined through the warmth, flavor, and rhythm of the Caribbean.
