These Undiscovered Caribbean Beach Bars Belong on Your Next Island Trip

La Plywood, Grenada
True to its name, La Plywood was built by hand, piece by piece, on a perfect stretch of BBC Beach near Grand Anse. It’s little more than a deck, a counter, and a couple of tables and stools, but the atmosphere is unbeatable. Icy Caribs and homemade rum punch flow freely. There’s no rush here — if a boat passes, everyone waves; if the music’s good, the bartender dances. Sunset turns the water to molten orange, and somehow the drinks taste even colder.
