Frontier is adding more perks for members.

Frontier Airlines is giving travelers a new way to get more out of their miles. If you’re a member of the airline’s FRONTIER Miles loyalty program, you can use miles not just for flights but also to pay for popular travel add-ons like bags, seat selection, priority boarding and change-fee waivers.

It is a move designed to make the program more flexible and more valuable for frequent flyers.

Members now have the option to redeem miles for three different bundles. The Economy bundle, which starts at 2,000 miles, includes a carry-on bag, standard seat selection and no change or cancel fees. The Premium bundle, starting at 4,000 miles, offers a carry-on bag, premium seat selection and the same flexible change and cancelation benefits.

The top-tier Business bundle, starting at 8,000 miles, includes a carry-on, two checked bags up to fifty pounds each, UpFront Plus seat selection and no change or cancel fees.

Bobby Schroeter, Chief Commercial Officer of Frontier Airlines, said the new option gives members more choice, more flexibility and more value, from award flights starting at just 5,000 miles to bundles with bags and seats starting at only 2,000 miles.

The program update is part of a broader transformation called The New Frontier. The airline has introduced a series of upgrades aimed at improving the customer experience. Among the changes is UpFront Plus seating, which offers extra leg and elbow room in the first two rows of the plane. Those seats guarantee a window or aisle seat and an empty middle seat, giving travelers more personal space at the front of the cabin.

Frontier has also rolled out unlimited companion travel for Elite Platinum and Elite Diamond status members, allowing them to bring a different companion on each flight. Looking ahead to early 2026, the airline plans to debut its first class product, combining added space and comfort with the carrier’s low fares.

Frontier Miles remains free to join, and members earn ten miles for every dollar spent on Frontier products, with higher earning rates at each elite tier. The program is also family friendly, offering easy family pooling of miles so households can combine their balances and redeem rewards faster.

For travelers who regularly buy seat upgrades or baggage add-ons, this new redemption option creates a way to use miles strategically and save money on everyday travel extras. It also positions Frontier’s loyalty program as a more flexible option within the low-cost airline space.

Frontier has a rapidly-growing presence in the Caribbean, particularly out of San Juan.
