Liat Air is adding a new international destination to its network. The regional carrier has announced it will begin operating flights between Antigua and Santo Domingo starting Dec. 12, 2025.

The weekly service will depart from Antigua on Fridays at 2 p.m., arriving in the Dominican capital at 4 p.m. The return flight will leave Santo Domingo at 4:45 p.m. and arrive back in Antigua at 6:45 p.m. Introductory fares start at $348 one way.

The Antigua–Santo Domingo route will be operated on the airline’s ATR 42-600, part of a growing fleet that also includes two Embraer ERJ-145 aircraft.

In addition to the new Santo Domingo route, Liat Air’s reservation system shows another upcoming launch: service between Dominica and Punta Cana. Beginning Dec. 9, the carrier will offer two weekly flights, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Flights will depart Dominica at 2:10 p.m., arriving in Punta Cana at 3:45 p.m., with the return leg leaving at 4:45 p.m. and touching down in Dominica at 6:20 p.m. This route will be operated with Embraer ERJ-145 aircraft.

The new routes underscore Liat Air’s renewed focus on growing its regional footprint and increasing connectivity between the Eastern Caribbean and the Dominican Republic — a growing hub for both leisure and business travel.

The upstart carrier, flying in the footsteps of the old regional stalwart with the same name, has been rapidly expanding its network in the last year, from new flights to Barbuda to several flights to destinations like Jamaica.

The company also just announced plans for a new route to Guyana.
