The Sam Lord's Castle resort in Barbados is hosting this year's event.

Nominations are officially open for the 2025 edition of the prestigious CHIEF Awards — an annual celebration of excellence in Caribbean hospitality. It’s a chance to shine a spotlight on the people and organizations setting new standards across the region’s hotel and tourism industry.

The awards, presented by Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association, honor outstanding achievement in five core categories: Environmental Sustainability, Innovative Sales and Marketing, People Development and Support, Social Responsibility, and Tech Transformation. Each year, the CHIEF Awards recognize leaders who are pushing the region forward with impactful ideas, innovative practices and meaningful change.

The nomination deadline is Oct. 29, 2025.

Who Can Be Nominated
Any active CHTA member in good standing is eligible to be nominated. Nominations can be submitted by hotels, tourism businesses, ministries and departments of tourism, travel industry partners, and strategic partners and sponsors.

How the Process Works
All initiatives must have taken place during the 2025 calendar year. A panel of industry leaders will evaluate each nomination through a three-stage review, identifying three finalists and one overall winner in each category. Submissions will be judged on their approach, measurable results and the ability to serve as best practices for the region.

Finalists will be recognized at CHIEF 2025, with winners announced at the CHIEF Awards ceremony. Their achievements will also be highlighted through press coverage, social media and the CHIEF Awards page.

How to Submit
Entries must be submitted through the official CHIEF Awards portal. Supporting materials such as visuals, videos, charts and graphs are strongly encouraged. Each submission may not exceed five pages or 20MB.

For those helping shape the future of Caribbean hospitality, this is the moment to be recognized.

You can send in your nominations here.
