The Dominican Republic’s tourism investment map is shifting. For years, the Punta Cana–Bávaro corridor has dominated large-scale development, drawing the bulk of the country’s resort capital.

While tourism remains strong across the country, from Punta Cana to La Romana, it’s one corner of the Dominican Republic that is seeing the most interest.
