The Turks and Caicos Islands has been recognized as the Best Beach Vacation in the Air Canada Vacations Travelers’ Top Picks Awards.

The announcement came during Air Canada Vacations’ 2025 Product Launch in Toronto on Sept. 18, part of the company’s 50th anniversary celebrations.

Paul Pennicook, Interim CEO Consultant of Experience Turks and Caicos, accepted the award on behalf of the destination.

“As we seek to deepen our relationships in the Canadian market, this award is both timely and meaningful. It reflects the work we’ve been doing to ensure the Turks and Caicos Islands remain a top choice for Canadian travellers,” Pennicook said. “Accolades judged directly by travellers are especially treasured because they affirm that our visitors have experienced and valued the quality of our beaches and the beauty of our destination firsthand. We are grateful for this recognition.”

The award follows renewed efforts to strengthen the destination’s profile in Canada. Earlier this year, Experience Turks and Caicos hosted a luncheon with travel advisors and media in Toronto, reintroducing the brand and reinforcing its push to grow visitor arrivals.

Canadian travelers will have more ways to reach the islands this winter, with Air Canada operating daily flights from Toronto and four weekly flights from Montreal to Providenciales, making it easier than ever to experience the celebrated beaches of Turks and Caicos.
