Every Traveler to Jamaica Needs to Fill Out This Form Before Arrival
If you’re heading to Jamaica, you are required to complete this online step — here’s what to know.
Even in 2025, there’s one thing every traveler headed to Jamaica needs to do before arriving: fill out the Enter Jamaica form.
Whether you’re visiting for a beach escape in Negril, a music-filled weekend in Kingston, or an all-inclusive getaway in Montego Bay, the digital immigration and customs form — available at enterjamaica.gov.jm — is a mandatory part of the arrival process for all travelers, including returning residents and Jamaican nationals.
The online form must be completed prior to arrival, ideally within 30 days of your trip, and covers basic immigration details, customs declarations, and travel information. Once completed, travelers receive a QR code to present on arrival in Jamaica.
The form replaces the old paper immigration cards once handed out on planes, part of the country’s broader digital transformation of its border and tourism systems.
Failing to complete the form ahead of time can lead to longer waits at the airport — and potentially delays in clearing immigration. Of course, there’s another faster way, which is to use the Club Mobay or Club Kingston arrival service — the extension of the excellent airport lounge at airports. I’ve used it just about every time I visited Jamaica in recent years — it’s awesome.
The good news? The Entry Jamaica form only takes a few minutes to complete, and you can even edit it if your plans change.
So before you pack your sunscreen, make sure you’ve got your passport, your travel itinerary — and your Enter Jamaica confirmation.
