Jamaica Is Getting a New All-Inclusive Resort in Runaway Bay
A white-sand beach. The Caribbean Sea at your doorstep. And an all-new way to experience Runaway Bay.
The Grand Muthu Club Caribbean Runaway Bay is opening its doors this summer, bringing a new kind of all-inclusive to Jamaica’s north coast — one that blends the spirit of the island with the warmth and vibrancy of India, Caribbean Journal has learned.
The resort is the latest expansion by MGM Muthu Hotels, part of a growing Caribbean portfolio that also includes properties in Cuba.
It’s the first-ever property in the English-speaking Caribbean for MGM Muthu, which has a global footprint that includes resorts everywhere from Portugal to Tanzania.
There’s the turquoise water. The reggae hum in the air. The slow sway of palm trees under a fading sun. And there’s something different, too: a sense of cultural fusion. The hospitality here reflects not just the heart of Jamaica, but the hospitality traditions of the East — bold spices, warm welcomes, moments meant to linger.
The idea, the company says, is to create “immersive stays,” according to a statement obtained by Caribbean Journal.
And it’s just the beginning. Because this isn’t just a hotel. It’s the latest piece of a bigger picture — a Caribbean-wide commitment to hospitality that’s vibrant, joyful, and deeply personal.

Grand Muthu Club Caribbean Runaway Bay officially opens August 1.
