Why a Star Chef Lineup Is Coming to the Dominican Republic’s Top Luxury Resort
There’s a certain magic to twilight at Minitas Beach—the golden sky reflected on the Caribbean, the scent of grilled seafood and fresh herbs drifting through the breeze, and the clink of wine glasses beneath a canopy of stars. It’s here, in the heart of Casa de Campo, that the Dominican Republic’s premier culinary event is set to return this fall. Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, long our favorite place to stay in the Dominican Republic, has announced the return of its signature culinary event: the Casa de Campo Food & Wine Festival. The third edition of the event will take place October 10-11, 2025, bringing together a lineup of world-renowned chefs and Dominican culinary stars.
Headlining this year’s festival is acclaimed chef and restaurateur Michael Mina, who will be joined by returning chefs Scott Conant and Hubert Keller, along with celebrated Dominican chef Inés Páez, also known as Chef Tita. The event will once again be hosted by Univision personality Raúl de Molina, with Univision and El Gordo y La Flaca broadcasting live from the resort throughout the weekend.
Held in partnership with Invited and American Express, the two-day festival will feature exclusive demonstrations, tastings, and pairing experiences set against the backdrop of the 7,000-acre resort. Guests will also have access to the resort’s newest accommodations at the Premier Club, along with its spectacular spa. We loved the Premier Club on our last visit, calling it the Caribbean’s new must-visit luxury resort.
The program begins Friday, Oct. 10, with the Grand Tasting Pavilion and a beachfront “Dinner Under the Stars” at Minitas Beach Club, featuring dishes from all four featured chefs. On Saturday, the festival continues with a second day of tastings and showcases at the Pavilion.
“The Food and Wine Festival is not only about exceptional food—it’s about celebrating the cultural richness of the Dominican Republic and creating memorable experiences our guests will treasure for years to come,” said Andrés Pichardo Rosenberg, President of Casa de Campo Resort & Villas.
Tickets and packages for the event are now available online.
