Posadas Just Opened a New All-Inclusive Near Puerto Vallarta
Grupo Posadas has launched the Fiesta Americana Nuevo Vallarta Resort and Spa, officially rebranding the former Wyndham Alltra Nuevo Vallarta and marking the brand’s latest expansion on Mexico’s Pacific coast.
The transition brings the Fiesta Americana brand to the Riviera Nayarit region, introducing refreshed accommodations, expanded culinary offerings, and upgraded amenities designed for modern travelers. Nuevo Vallarta is just north of Puerto Vallarta.
The opening comes at a good time, as the Riviera Nayarit is getting its first-ever international flights.
A Coastal Retreat Just Outside Puerto Vallarta
The resort is set along the Bahía de Banderas, about 20 minutes from Puerto Vallarta International Airport, the newly reimagined resort now offers 229 suites, including a Presidential Suite and an upgraded Fiesta Club level. Each room features private terraces, whirlpool tubs, HD televisions, complimentary Wi-Fi, and 24-hour room service.
“Bringing this resort into the Fiesta Americana portfolio is a strategic move to align the guest experience with the standards our travelers have come to expect,” said Enrique Calderón, Chief Operating Officer of Grupo Posadas. “We’re investing in upgrades that reflect the warmth, hospitality and attention to detail that define our brand while enhancing comfort without interruption.”
Culinary Program Led by Chef Gerardo Rivera
A key feature of the resort’s transformation is its enhanced culinary program, led by Chef Gerardo Rivera, Corporate Executive Chef of Grupo Posadas. The updated lineup of restaurants includes El Mexicano, offering traditional Mexican cuisine; Rosato, focused on Mediterranean dishes with Italian influences; San Telmo, known for its grilled specialties; and Efisia, serving light, Greek-inspired fare. Guests can also enjoy global snacks and coffee at Thai Kun, The Grill and Coffee Corner, along with cocktails from the lobby, pool, and beach bars.
“We are bringing renewed energy to the food and drink experience at Fiesta Americana Nuevo Vallarta,” Rivera said in a statement provided to Caribbean Journal. “It’s all about flavor, creativity and giving our guests more to enjoy—whether they’re by the pool, dining with family, or celebrating something special.”
Expanded Amenities and Guest Experiences
In addition to its culinary offerings, the resort now features the Miluma Spa, a full-service wellness center offering massages and restorative treatments.
There’s also a kids club, with supervised activities for younger guests.
Fiesta Americana Nuevo Vallarta Resort & Spa is now accepting reservations. Rooms start at $294 per night.
