Radisson Just Opened a New Beach Hotel in Panama
Radisson has debuted a new hotel on Panama’s Pacific coast, bringing a modern beachfront property to the growing beach town of Chame, just over an hour’s drive from Panama City.
The new Radisson Riviera Panama is located in the area of Chame, a laid-back coastal destination known for its proximity to some of Panama’s best-known surf and swimming beaches.
The hotel, set near Playa Caracol and Playa Teta, the is on scenic stretch of Panama Bay, a region that has become increasingly popular among both local and international travelers seeking an alternative to urban Panama City, particularly as the country looks to broaden its tourism pie.

The property features a range of accommodations, including guest rooms with in-room kitchen facilities. Each room is equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi, and high-speed internet is available for an additional fee. Other amenities include an on-site restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, a rooftop terrace, and elevator access. Parking is available and designed to be accessible for guests with disabilities.
For families and extended-stay visitors, the inclusion of kitchen-equipped rooms makes the hotel suitable for longer getaways.
Nearby attractions include a padel court just 100 meters from the property and the Mirador de Campana, a scenic overlook that provides panoramic views of the surrounding river valley.
The opening of the Radisson Riviera Panama adds to the brand’s growing presence in Latin America and the Caribbean, where demand for beachfront and coastal properties continues to drive investment.
It’s the second major hotel to open in Panama this year, along with Hyatt’s new resort in Panama’s Valle de Anton.
