Punta Cana Is Getting New Flights from Boston, Chicago and Orlando
It’s the fastest-growing airline in the Caribbean right now: upstart Dominican carrier Arajet, which just announced plans for another three routes from the United States.
Arajet is now planning to launch flights between Punta Cana and a trio of US cities: Boston, Orlando and Chicago.
Chicago-Punta Cana will be launching on Nov. 15.

Boston-Punta Cana flights are kicking off on Nov. 21, just in time for the peak winter season.
Arajet just launched its new nonstop route between Miami and Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic’s increasingly popular capital.
That route started last month, with New York-Santo Domingo flights launching in June.
So what about Arajet’s prices? They’re not ultra-low-cost; the Miami-Santo Domingo flight, for example, comes in at higher fares than competing routes on carriers like Spirit and JetBlue.
