Four Seasons’ New Ultra-Luxe, Small-Ship Cruises Will Come With a “Floating Marina”

By: Caitlin Sullivan - May 30, 2025 - 1:13 pm

Four Seasons has released new details about the marina programming aboard its first yacht, Four Seasons I, which is set to begin sailing in 2026.

And they’ll come with a floating marina.

The 14-deck vessel will feature a “transverse marina,” a structure that opens on both the port and starboard sides to place guests directly at sea level. The marina will span approximately 676 square meters (7,275 square feet) on designated “Marina Days,” which will take place on most Caribbean itineraries.

Programming will focus on non-sailing days anchored in remote coastal locations, including Mayreau Island and Soufrière Bay in the Caribbean. The setup includes retractable platforms, a bar and lounge area, and direct access to the water for a range of activities.

The marina space, which spans two decks, will support up to 105 guests and includes an extendable dock with a dipping pool, lounge chairs, and access to water-based equipment such as electric hydrofoils, pedalboards, kayaks, and inflatable waterboards.

Interior design is by Tillberg Design of Sweden, which developed the yacht’s marina areas with a focus on maximizing sea access and functionality. “Our design focuses on creating a seamless connection with the sea,” said Fredrik Johansson, Partner and Executive Director of Tillberg Design of Sweden.

Additional offerings will include wellness sessions such as yoga and guided meditation in the morning, followed by beverage service and leisure programming throughout the day.

The vessel will also include two custom tenders as part of its “Grand Touring Experience.” The Limo Tender is a 10-meter transport vessel offering short excursions in select ports, while the Beachlander is a high-speed Ribeye boat intended for beach access, snorkeling stops, and coastal exploration.

“These marina days will add a new element of discovery and fun,” said Tim Littley, Vice President of Itinerary and Planning at Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings LTD, Joint Owner and Operator of Four Seasons Yachts. “Guests will explore destinations, bays and coves while using kayaks, paddleboards, and other water toys.”

Four Seasons I is the first in a planned fleet of Four Seasons Yachts, operated by Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings in partnership with Four Seasons.

Four Seasons is following Ritz-Carlton in bringing ultra-small-ship cruise lines to the Caribbean, which both companies are positioning as “yachts.”

Pricing info isn’t yet publicly available.
