Frontier Just Made Its Return to Aruba, With Demand “Very High”

By: Alexander Britell - May 27, 2025 - 6:46 pm

Frontier Airlines is back in Aruba. The carrier made its long-awaited return to the Dutch Caribbean island this past weekend, Caribbean Journal has confirmed.

It’s the first time Frontier has flown to Aruba since its Miami-Aruba flights back in 2021.

Frontier is now one of two airlines serving Aruba, along with Delta Air Lines (which has two flights every day out of Hartsfield-Jackson.

The new flight is operating once every week on Saturdays.

The plan is for the route to operate through August, according to the Aruba Airport.

Demand for Aruba “remains very high,” according to Aruba Tourism Minister Wendrick Cicilia. That’s not a surprise to hear, given how the island is trending with surging arrivals (according to the CTO) and sizzling demand on platforms like Tripadvisor.

“As a destination, we continue to ensure a strong balance between growth and quality. Many Caribbean islands are now using Aruba’s model as an example,” Cicilia said.

So what do you need to know about the flight? It leaves Atlanta at 10:13 AM, arriving in Aruba at 2:20 PM local time.

The return flight leaves Aruba at 3:35 PM, flying into Atlanta at 7:55 PM.

Frontier is running the flights on Airbus A321 aircraft with room for up to 230 passengers.

So what about prices?

Pretty competitive right now, at $337 roundtrip according to Google Flights. That is compared to $427 roundtrip on Delta.
