Jamaica Is Getting Daily Flights from London on Virgin Atlantic
Jamaica is getting ramped-up service on Virginia Atlantic next winter, Jamaican tourism officials have confirmed.
The expansion will mean daily nonstop service between London and Montego Bay beginning in January of next year.
Virgin Atlantic will be operating the service on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
The expansion and capacity increase are a response to “high demand,” an official said.
The United Kingdom was one of Jamaica’s strongest markets last year, according to data from the Caribbean Tourism Organization, which showed that the island’s tourism from the UK rose by 11.1 percent in 2024.
That represented a total of 239,314 stayover visitors coming to the island out of the UK.
