10 Adults-Only Resorts in Saint Lucia That Are Perfect for a Romantic Escape

By: Guy Britton - May 5, 2025 - 4:36 pm

You spend the morning hiking beneath the towering Pitons, the twin peaks wrapped in mist and myth. By midday, you’re sipping rum on a terrace overlooking the yachts and mangroves of Marigot Bay, watching the sunlight dance on the water.

Come evening, Rodney Bay pulses with music and motion—bars alive, laughter spilling into the streets. And then, as the stars rise, you slip away. Because the real magic of Saint Lucia begins when you retreat to an adults-only sanctuary—quiet, secluded, and made for two. It’s something Saint Lucia does particularly well. Here’s our guide to our favorite adults-only resorts on the Eastern Caribbean island.

jade mountain saint lucia adults-only resorts
It’s the most iconic adults-only resort in Saint Lucia.

Jade Mountain Perched above Anse Chastanet’s 600-acre estate, Jade Mountain is a masterpiece of organic architecture. Each of its 24 open-air sanctuaries features a private infinity pool and a missing fourth wall, offering uninterrupted views of the Pitons and the sea. Designed by legendary architect-owner Nick Troubetzkoy, the resort harmonizes with the lush Caribbean environment, celebrating the breathtaking beauty of St. Lucia. It’s as much a work of art as a resort, and when you’re in one of the property’s “sanctuaries” with their plunge pools, you’ll feel like you’re on another planet. Rooms starting at $1,530.

Sandals Grande St Lucian The 311-suite property, which is home to the first overwater bungalows in Saint Lucia,is  set on one mile of beach, in close proximity to a top golf course (where greens fees are included) and has five pools, three jacuzzis and a dozen restaurants. Even better? You can get access to Sandals’ two other resorts on the island or, as Sandals calls it, “stay at 1 play at 3.”

Ti Kaye, from above.

Ti Kaye Still something of a well-guarded secret, this tiny resort on Anse Cochon overflows with Creole charm, with welcome touches like outdoor showers, hammocks and, of course, the kinds of views that make Saint Lucia the “Helen of the West Indies.” There are just 33 rooms, meaning it’s wonderfully intimate. It’s also one of the best values on the island, with rates starting at just $280 per night, according to Google Hotels.

Every room comes with a pool just like this one.

Serenity at Coconut Bay Serenity gives you 36 plunge pool suites nestled in a lush enclave just minutes from Hewanorra International Airport. Each suite boasts a mahogany king bed, walk-in rain shower, soaking tub, and a private plunge pool. With butler service and all-inclusive gourmet cuisine, Serenity redefines luxury for couples seeking privacy and indulgence. You also get all the access you want to the adjacent, amenity-filled Coconut Bay resort. $1,299.

It’s a really beautiful property that we loved on our last visit.

Zoëtry Marigot Bay St. Lucia This 124 resort has gone through several different brands, but what hasn’t changed is the setting: Marigot Bay, an ethereal, exotic, grand bay that has been rightfully called one of the most beautiful bays in the Caribbean (by author James Michener, no less). Now a Zoetry, it’s a wellness-focused, serene property that works well with its marina-front location and pair of infinity pools. There’s even a rum cave. $580 per night (or you can book on Hyatt points, of course).

calabash cove adults-only resorts in saint lucia
It’s one of the best budget-friendly options.

Calabash Cove An authentic all-inclusive, adults-only 26-room resort, Calabash Cove is beautifully positioned in front of one of Saint Lucia’s most stunning beaches. All suites and cottages offer magnificent ocean views, jacuzzis for two, and some feature private plunge pools. Surrounded by tropical nature, the resort gives you a tranquil and romantic atmosphere with your significant other. Or just a quiet escape for a solo trip. Rooms start at $387.

koko rondovals
A Koko Rondoval room.

Sandals Halcyon Beach At Sandals Halcyon, everything slows down. This is the quietest of Sandals’ Saint Lucia properties—a low-rise, low-key hideaway where hammocks swing lazily beneath palm canopies and fire pits flicker after dark. The Beachfront Butler Suites come with private plunge pools and the kind of tranquility that makes you forget what day it is. It’s also home to some of our favorite rooms in the Caribbean: the Koko Rondovals. If you know Sandals, you know Rondovals are always spectacular, and these, with their lush settings and plunge pools, are worth the splurge and then some.

ladera saint lucia
Ladera has some pretty amazing rooms.

Ladera Resort If you imagined a woodworking exhibit that somehow morphed into a hotel, this is it: Ladera, built by hand on a volcanic ridge between the iconic Pitons, Ladera is the only resort situated on a UNESCO World Heritage site. Its 37 unique villas and suites feature open-air designs (we call them “three wall”), private plunge pools, and handcrafted furniture made from local wood.

Guests can immerse themselves in nature while enjoying luxurious amenities and breathtaking views and the outstanding Dasheene restaurant. Just note: the three-wall concept isn’t for everyone — you do need to be a little extra adventurous and be comfortable with both the elements and nature. Rooms at $1,203.

On the beach at Sandals Regency La Toc.

Sandals Regency La Toc is all dramatic views and romantic drama. You could stay in a bluff-top villa with a private pool overlooking the Caribbean, or tuck away in a Sunset Bluff suite where the only sound is the hush of waves far below. Regency La Toc (which has 10 different restaurants) is bold, sprawling, and truly beautiful.

Inside a room.

Hideaway at Royalton Saint Lucia The 166-room adults-only wing of the Royalton Saint Lucia, this hotel is a classic example of the Royalton brand: sleek rooms, a great spa and an impressive slate of programming every day of the week. The beach is terrific, too. Our suggestion? Go for a swim-out room, it’s always worth it. $518 per night.
