How to Savor the Culinary Scene in St Kitts, From Organic Farms to Hip Beach Lounges
Saltfish and dumplings. Cook up. Conch chowder. Stewed oxtail. Curry goat. Fried plantains.
Johnny cakes. Pelau. Tamarind balls. If there’s one thing you need to know about St. Kitts, it’s that this island knows how to eat. And if you’re looking for the ultimate excuse to taste your way around it, Restaurant Week is calling your name.
St Kitts and Nevis Restaurant Week is Back
From July 17 to 27, St. Kitts & Nevis Restaurant Week is back — and it’s bringing bold flavors, big vibes, and a whole lot of tamarind to the table. This annual culinary celebration is a love letter to Kittitian cuisine, spotlighting the island’s top chefs and eateries as they whip up one-of-a-kind menus inspired by local ingredients.
The star of the show this year? Tamarind — that sweet-and-sour tropical gem that’s about to get a serious glow-up. Think sticky tamarind-glazed ribs, zesty sauces, tangy cocktails, and even some creative desserts, all crafted to show off the ingredient’s incredible versatility.
Everybody’s participating
Participating restaurants across the island will offer special fixed-price menus, giving diners a chance to explore the rich culinary culture of St. Kitts without breaking the bank. Whether you’re dining oceanside or tucked into a cozy village eatery, there’s something new — and delicious — waiting for you.

Special events are also on the calendar
And the flavors don’t stop there. This year’s festivities also include Grillfest, a crowd-favorite showdown of local grill masters at Frigate Bay Lawn. Expect sizzling BBQ, ice-cold drinks, and a whole lot of island energy.
Some must-try spots
We love the food at Ital Creations at the Fari Organic Farm (the island’s best vegan, farm-to-table food), and we’re also rather fond of the fare at the fine-dining Serendipity, the island’s most memorable meal.
How do you get to St Kitts?
Getting to the party is a breeze, too. Direct flights to St. Kitts are available from major U.S. cities like Miami (American Airlines), Atlanta (Delta), New York (JFK on JetBlue and American, EWR on United), and Charlotte (American). So yes — this foodie getaway is just a few hours away.
Whether you’re a seasoned Kittitian cuisine fan or just craving something new, Restaurant Week is the perfect reason to pack your appetite and head south.
