Frontier Is Starting Its New Aruba Flights Next Month
Frontier Airlines has quietly been embarking on a rapid expansion in the Caribbean, one that began with a huge push to places like Cancun and Puerto Rico but is now adding a host of new islands across the region.
The newest? Nonstop flights from Atlanta’s Hartsfield Jackson International Airport to Aruba’s Queen Beatrix Airport.
The new flights are now starting on May 24, with plans to run through Aug. 16 — in other words, through much of the peak season and summer.

What does it mean for Aruba? About 230 seats every week, with flights operating once on Saturdays.
“We’re excited to welcome a new airline operating from ATL, one of the busiest hubs in the U.S., which enhances connectivity with several large markets,” said Jo-Anne Arends, Aviation Business Development Executive at the Aruba Airport Authority. “Frontier becomes the 29th airline to serve Aruba and now offers 16 nonstop routes to the U.S., joining all major American carriers at our airport. These new flights reflect the strong and growing demand from airlines seeking to expand their service to Aruba.”
So what about prices? About $435 roundtrip, according to Frontier’s website.
