At Nassau’s Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, a New Kind of Family Suite
Just in time for the sun-soaked days of spring and summer, Grand Hyatt Baha Mar is raising the bar for group getaways in The Bahamas. The Nassau resort has unveiled four new suites in its West Tower, crafted especially for families, friends, and group travelers looking to soak up the island vibes together.
The new new suites, which accommodate up to six guests, are perfect for larger groups. Think: stylish two-bedroom layouts featuring a king bed, bunk beds perfect for kids, and a massive living room outfitted with a pullout couch — plenty of room for everyone to spread out and settle into island life.
Designed for everything from family vacations to girls’ getaways and long-awaited reunions, the refreshed suites offer bright, modern interiors, an open-concept flow, and, of course, those signature Bahamian views.

Other amenities include a mini-fridge, a Keurig coffee maker, a 42-inch flat-screen TV and Balmain bath amenities (and robes, of course). There’s also a furnished balcony and a wet bar.
Step outside and you’re just moments away from the resort’s world-class amenities and endless adventures.
“We’re thrilled to introduce these exciting new suite offerings to our guests, providing a playful yet sophisticated space where families, friends, and groups can gather, unwind, and make memories in paradise,” said Peter McMahon, Managing Director at Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, in a statement shared with Caribbean Journal “Whether it’s a long-awaited reunion or a family vacation, these rooms offer the perfect blend of comfort, fun, and togetherness.”
Prices haven’t been released yet on the hotel website. But you can find more at Grand Hyatt Baha Mar. If you’re just looking for a traditionally-sized room, rates in May start at $472 for a king-bedroom with a view of the resort’s iconic fountain.
