This Puerto Vallarta All-Inclusive Just Got a Makeover, With a Teppanyaki Spot, a Refreshed Kids Club and New-Look Rooms

Puerto Vallarta's top all-inclusive has a new look.

The beaches. The markets. The cobblestone streets. Puerto Vallarta has long been considered one of the most charming places to visit in Mexico. But it’s also home to some high-level resorts. That includes a member of the Hyatt Ziva collection: the Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta, which just got a $20 million makeover.

So what’s new? For starters, the property completed a refresh of all 244 of its rooms in the North tower, with touches like Nespresso machines, new AC and Smart televisions.

There’s also a new dining concept at the vacation spot: the Teppanyaki-style Tamari, along with a brand-new kids club that has what Hyatt calls a “jungle” feel.

The Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta (which is managed by Playa) has also upgraded its meeting spaces, with a new terrace.

The poolscape is a must.

Other changes? Improved pickleball courts and a transformed entrance.

It’s part of a broader change that will include the debut later this year of an Italian eatery called Melanzanne.

So what about prices at the family-friendly all-inclusive? You can book a standard-rate oceanfront king room for $484 per night, all-inclusive. For an ocean-view with a balcony, the price goes up to $504, with a club ocean view suite seeing a $604 nightly rate.

Those rates are all discounted for World of Hyatt members.
