Cancun is the second most-searched-for destination on Hilton platforms right now, following Hawaii and just ahead of Orlando.
More broadly, the Caribbean region is the third fastest-growing destination for Hilton, with the company calling it a “trending” international destination. That means it saw the third-largest increase in search year-over-year, as compared to the pre-Spring Break period in 2024.
Hilton has been on a major expansion push in the Caribbean in recent years, one centered on its all-inclusive portfolio, growth that has been centered in Cancun and the Mexican Caribbean market.

Cancun’s airport has been seeing declining numbers in recent months, and the spike on Hilton platform may be a sign of positive things to come.
