St Maarten and Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic are among Canadian travel giant Sunwing’s summer flight schedule, Caribbean Journal has learned. 

The carrier and vacation provider will be running regular service to St Maarten, Puerto Plata and Grand Bahama out of Montreal this summer. 

That’s along with daily flights from Montreal to Cancun and Punta Cana, along with four weekly frequencies to Holguin in Cuba. 

Cancun remains a major destination for Sunwing this summer, with daily flights out of Toronto, two flights each week out of Quebec, once-weekly service from Vancouver and Calgary and once-weekly from Edmonton, too. 

Another unique route? Sunwing is flying from Montreal to Rio Hato airport in Panama.
