St Barth’s Bonito Just Opened a Beach Club in Bimini
It’s one of the biggest hotspots in St Barth, and now the legenary Bonito is in The Bahamas, Caribbean Journal has learned.
Bonito has opened the new Bonito Beach Club on the island of Bimini, developed by Rockwell Island Development Group. The beach club is the first phase of what will be in several years the first-ever Banyan Tree resort in The Bahamas.
The club is set on Rockwell Island, a private community just across the water from the Hilton hotel. It’s got everything from a restaurant to VIP table service to padel and tennis courts, along with private cabanas and beach chairs with bottle service.
The menu, like that of its St Barth counterpart, is seafood focused, with hamachi espuma, spiny lobster ceviche and Bahamian favorites like conch salad, among others.
And yes, there’s caviar service, too.
“For years, we have envisioned a Bonito Beach Club, and the moment we arrived at Banyan Tree Bimini Resort & Residences, we knew it was the perfect setting,” said Bonito’s Alexandra Millán. “The white sand beaches and breathtaking sunsets create a sense of being worlds away, yet its proximity to Miami ensures easy access for our guests.”
Bonito Beach Club is open on the weekends, from 5 to 10 PM on Fridays, 12 PM to 10PM on Saturdays and 11 AM to 5 PM on Sundays.
