Rosewood Le Guanahani St. Barth, the legendary island escape on Saint Barthélemy, has appointed Thibaut Asso as Resort Manager, marking his return to the iconic property.

In the role, Asso will oversee the resort’s daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while driving strategic initiatives to enhance service excellence and operational efficiency.

“I am absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to work alongside Thibaut once again,” said Martein van Wagenberg, Managing Director of Rosewood Le Guanahani St. Barth. “He not only brings his extensive knowledge of the destination but also his breadth of experience working at the resort, where he has been instrumental in elevating guest experiences and operations. With 20 years of experience working with hotels in North America, Europe and Asia, Thibaut brings a global perspective and a profound expertise in the luxury space, which will undoubtedly elevate our offerings here in St. Barth.”

Asso’s journey comes full circle as he returns to Rosewood Le Guanahani St. Barth as Resort Manager, building on his previous tenure as Director of Sales and Marketing from 2020 to 2023.

Following his time at the resort, he joined Marriott International as Complex Director of Sales and Marketing, working with renowned properties including The St. Regis Aspen and W Aspen.

Asso also served as Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing, Americas for COMO Hotels and Resorts in Miami Beach, overseeing sales and marketing for two properties and leading the successful reopening of COMO Parrot Cay in 2017.
