A New BW Premier Collection Hotel Project Just Broke Ground in the Dominican Republic
It’s one of the fastest-growing hotel collections in the Caribbean right now: BWH Hotels, which is at it again with a new project now underway in the Dominican Republic, Caribbean Journal Invest has learned.
The new La Estancia, BW Premier Collection, has officially broken ground in the increasingly popular destination of La Romana in the Dominican Republic (one that now has new nonstop American Airlines flights from Miami).
The new project will have 60 rooms cross four floors, with another 40 keys also on the way.
It will complement the existing La Estancia Golf Resort, which was created by designer Pete Dye. Other amenities will include the Terrazza 19 Bar, a cigar bar, a “golfer’s bar,” a new gym, a pool and tennis courts will also be added.

The property is set near several golf courses, including those at the nearby Casa de Campo resort.
