The Bahamas will be welcoming more than 1,000 attendees from 63 countries this week as its hosts the Routes Americas conference on Paradise Island.
This year’s event runs Feb. 10-12 at the Atlantis resort, bringing together aviation, airport and destination stakeholders for networking on high-level panels.
It’s the top air service development in the region.
“We are pleased to be hosting Routes Americas 2025 in Nassau, which represents an opportunity for destinations and stakeholders to meet with key airline targets and stay ahead of the competition. Our numbers confirm that The Bahamas is ahead of the competition,” said Dr. Kenneth Romer, director of aviation and deputy director general of tourism in The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism.
The Bahamas itself will be participating in more than 50 meetings. Nearly 100 airlines are already planning to attend.
“We are going to be using this as a platform to build high-value relationships,” said Dr. Romer.
Caribbean Journal will be on the ground providing updates from the conference as well.
