Why to Visit Bermuda’s Big Culinary Event, From “Michelin-Inspired Creativity” to New Cocktail Menus
It’s the biggest food celebration on the island of Bermuda: Bermuda Restaurant Weeks, a month-long calendar of culinary events all over the island.
And it’s back again, running now through Feb. 16.
Almost 50 different restaurants and bars are participating, with special prix-fixe menus at $49, $59 and $69, along with lunch specials and, in a new addition, some special cocktail programs.
That includes a series of pre-dinner cocktail menus at bars and eateries created just for the event.
Restaurant Weeks is “an opportunity to celebrate our chefs, mixologists, and culinary professionals who make Bermuda’s food scene world-class,” Tashae Thompson, vice president of experiences at the Bermuda Tourism Authority, said in a statement obtained by Caribbean Journal.
“They are the true stars of Bermuda’s food scene; and we are delighted to spotlight their talent as we create the types of experiences our visitors are seeking. We invite locals and visitors to discover new favourites and revisit beloved restaurants while enjoying exceptional value and Michelin-inspired creativity.”
