Club Med Just Opened a New Water Park in the Dominican Republic

By: Caitlin Sullivan - December 27, 2024 - 10:36 am

It’s one of the most in-demand amenities for families traveling with kids right now: an on-site water park.

More and more properties continue to add the amenity, particularly those of the all-inclusive variety, and now that includes Club Med, which just opened a brand-new water park at its Punta Cana resort.

The new water park at the Club Med Punta Cana is the largest one in the all-inclusive brand’s portfolio, with three different “zones,” including a jungle-inspired area for younger kids, a dome-shaped “bubble pool” and a water slide zone with four different slides.

The property will have trained lifeguards watching over the whole park.

While the park itself is already open, soon to debut is a new food truck with sharable bites and beverages, according to the company.

What’s the best water park in Punta Cana? For us, it’s still the one at the exceptionally family-friendly Lopesan Costa Bavaro.
