Caribbean Airlines Operations “Normal” Amid Trinidad and Tobago Pilot Wage Talks
Caribbean Airlines says its operations “continue as normal” amid ongoing wage negotiations with the Trinidad and Tobago Airline Pilots Association.
The airline said CAL representatives met with the pilots association on Monday, and that the signing of an agreement was “imminent.”
Local media reports had suggested potential disruptions to the airline’s operations — a charge the airline said were “inaccurate and do not reflect the ongoing positive engagement between Caribbean Airlines and TTALPA.”
The airline said it “assures its valued customers that all operations are proceeding as normal.”
“The airline remains fully committed to providing seamless and reliable service to its customers and thanks all stakeholders for their continued support and confidence as the airline works to achieve sustainable solutions for the benefit of all parties involved,” the company said in a statement provided to Caribbean Journal.
