Yes, you can get your own bottle at the Piarco airport.

It’s the biggest party in the Caribbean: Trinidad and Tobago Carnival, which runs every year in the twin-island destination.

And now Trinidad-based Caribbean Airlines is getting into the fun with a creative new addition to celebrate the island-wide fete: its own rum punch.

It’s called the Caribbean Iere Mix, and it’s a ru punch that will be served on board Caribbean Airlines flights through the Carnival season. It will also come in a bottle that you can get at the airline’s duty free shop at Port of Spain’s Piarco International Airport.

Even better? The rum punch is made in collaboration with the island’s most famous rum brand, Angostura.

“This rum punch, produced by Angostura’s expert mixologists, is the perfect blend of ripe passion fruit, succulent mango, tangy pineapple and our bitters,” said Angostura’s Rahim Mohammed, in a statement provided to Caribbean Journal.

Of course, Caribbean Airlines isn’t the first regional carrier with its own rum punch.

One of our favorite airlines in the region, Cayman Airways, has long been serving its own special rum punch as an included amenity on all of its international flights. We’ve called it the Caribbean’s best airline perk, and it’s, in a word, delicious.
