Travelers continue to flock to St Kitts, with the Eastern Caribbean hotspot seeing a full-fledged tourism boom this year.
In fact, St Kitts’ tourism arrival growth this year makes the island one of the fastest-growing destinations in the Caribbean right now, according to new data.
The island has welcomed 118,574 visitors through the third quarter of this year, a 21.6 percent jump compared to the same period in 2023.
That’s up significantly from the 97,460 visitors that had come to the island through the end of September 2023.
The island is “on an upward trajectory,” St Kitts Tourism Minister Marsha Henderson said in a statement provided to Caribbean Journal.
Officials tell us that the island has bigger hopes for the upcoming winter season, with “continued promise” and “heightened optimism for 2025 as the destination anticipates even greater numbers.”
