Antigua and Barbuda’s Art Week Is in Full Swing, With Gallery Tours, Mixology and Live Music

By: Guy Britton - November 29, 2024

The Caribbean’s premier art week is back again in Antigua and Barbuda, with a host of cultural showcases across the twin-island destination.

Art Week Antigua and Barbuda kicked off on Wednesday, with events running now through Dec. 3.

That includes an art weekend in Barbuda, with island wide music and food; the “Rhythm and Vibes” event at the Hodges Bay resort, which includes music, spoken word performances, dance and art exhibitions; Canvas and Cocktails, an immersive art and mixology event at Casa Palmadita; and Ana’s Xmas Souk, which runs Dec. 1 at Ana’s on the Beach.

Even better? If you’re on the island, you can take a self-guided tour to explore local art galleries all over the island.

You can do so by scanning this QR code.

It’s a cool, inviting weeklong event that’s part of an increasingly popular slate of festivals on the island, including the new spring event Antigua and Barbuda Restaurant Week.
