In a big boost for intra-Caribbean connectivity, Bahamian national carrier Bahamasair has officially kicked off its new nonstop service between Nassau and Montego Bay, Jamaica.
The new flights between Nassau’s Lynden Pindling International Airport and Jamaica’s Sangster International Airport are now operating twice each week, with service on Thursdays and Sundays, the company confirmed.
Jamaica Tourism Minister said the new flights would “strengthen regional connectivity and the realization of multi-destination tourism.”
So what do the flights cost?
Right now, you can book a roundtrip itinerary between Nassau and Montego Bay for about $618.75. That’s for a non-refundable fare, which is cheaper.
The flight takes about one hour and a half.
