This is the Best Caribbean Island for a Honeymoon, According to CJ Readers

What are the ingredients to the perfect Caribbean honeymoon? There’s some combination of solitude, luxury and natural beauty, for starters. Then a mix of adventure and romance. A thriving culinary scene doesn’t hurt, either. And it naturally starts with the perfect honeymoon resort. 

For Caribbean Journal readers, when it comes to the ultimate Caribbean honeymoon, one island stands out: Antigua, which was voted as the top Caribbean honeymoon destination in this year’s CJ Caribbean Travelers’ Choice Awards. 

The destination beat out 10 other top Caribbean honeymoon spots in a field of almost 36,000 total votes. 

Of course, it’s not a surprise that CJ readers chose Antigua. 

The island specializes in the kinds of boutique, luxury, adults-only all-inclusive resorts that are tailor-made for the perfect post-wedding getaway.
